squeal or screetch

heard a high pitch screech/squeal coming from the motor area during high RPM shifting today. It almost sounded like bearings going bad or something, only did it for a few seconds while high rpm shifting, then went away. Anybody have a clue what is going on here? water pump bearings , alternator bearings ?

Before speculating on anything as radical as bad bearings, I'd suspect belt slippage. Bearings would make themselves known under far more circumstances than high rpm shifts.

bearings

well I've heard bearings and fans luck up before and it almost sounded like it. I know how a belt sounds when it sqeeks and it didn't seem like that. I haven't heard it ever since I held back on THAT BEAST. LOL

I'm shifting at a lower rpm to make sure.

thanks for the input folks.

Car telling you in Japanese, please don't drive me so hard? Most likely a belt, could be the throw out bearing or clutch complaining, but I doubt it.
