Well i kinda accidentally... broke my friends car lol. Was in my garage for like 2 weeks trying to diagnose it. Performed a fuel injection/ air induction cleaning. Somehow the MAF sensor got damaged and car was running like crap. Removed the entire throttle body and cleaned everything and while i was there did a tune up cause someone put some bosch pos spark plugs in there. Finally found out it was the MAF sensor that was faulty and got one off ebay for 60 bucks. New one was 1080 dollars from the dealer. SO wanted to return the car back in good condition for all the troubles.

Oh and hes been driving the car for about a year. And has never even washed it not even once. I really wish I had before and after pictures.

Yeah lol. Also used a seal for the hood as well.

I first used scratch x on all the places there were scratches. Then cleaner wax the entire car. And then finally mequires synthetic wax in the purple bottle. Went through like 10 microfiber clothes within the whole process. Really brings out the finish and helps protect the paint from further scratches. And then meguires instant detailer in between washes and waxes.

Cleaner wax is slightly abrasive and has cleaning properties to remove the impurities from the paint to prep it for your real wax. Its good for removing residue from polish or claybar.

What'd you end up using to paint/clearcoat the silver bar on the trunk? I plan on doing the same.
