Black Mesh Grill

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/UNIVE...spagenameZWDVW

for those looking for a universal mesh grill. note: this is not the user i bought mine from, nor is it the same material. this one is aluminum, so i'm not sure how to cut this "cleanly".

Its too porous. The 'mesh' needs to be smaller in gauge and a tighter pattern. It also needs to be chrome.

sorry about that...my computer blew up like 2 days after my last post...lost the diy...

i ended up buying the one at pepboys for the upper grille, and used a cheap-o gutter guard from home depot for the lower one. why?...cause the cheapo ones arent big enought for the upper grille...

i took the original off, used a dremel to cut the front bumper to where its flush, painted the mesh, and used a liquid nail type glue to stick it from the inside...

the bottom one looks a little crapy if you look at it up close...it has some gaps where the plastic grille used to be, but i will fix it with some fiberglass from th inside and a little bondo and paint.

here are some pics of how it looks...

lower grille...

Looks good, I plan on doing the same with my sedan. If it doesn't turn out good, I'll just put the oem grill back on.
