Borla Exhaust Part #

Hey guys,

I wanted to pick up a Borla exhaust for my 2008 Yaris LE Hatch. I checked their website and realized there wasn't a full catback system available. However I thought I've seen some rear axle setups on here from Borla. Anyways I couldn't find anything on their website for our platform, so I emailed them. They wrote back that they don't have neither an axle back nor a cat back system available for the Yaris. For those on the board here with the Borla, were they all just universal mufflers with custom piping?

They made one. It was very expensive.

There are YouTube vids of it and one was sold on here (no pics):

If any are still available I can find it for you.

Yes I am interested. My mechanic friend orders a lot of my stuff and said he deals with Borla. He just needed a Part # which I'm unable to currently obtain. If you would be able to get me that information, that would be awesome!

I have no idea what this site is. Too bad you can't make out the part# on the box.

I suppose you could contact him and see if he'd provide you with it.

You guys can do the homework then.

It's clear they no longer make the part, but maybe someone has old stock they want to get rid of. You might even get a nice discount.

That's cool. Thanks for checking into it for me. He had got a brand new axle-back Borla for a friend's Scion xB for just over $200.00 CAD. Said it would probably be the same price for mine, but it would appear that's not an option anymore! :)

And if your buddy deals with Borla, can't he just call them?

He doesn't 'deal' with Borla. He orders stuff through the Keystone catalogue and said part numbers always make it easier for him to locate the items.

It is my understanding that the current TRD axle back is produced by Borla. Perhaps it was in one of the TRD discussions that you caught wind of there name. See link below.

When I worked at a Toyota Dealership a few years back, they put a Borla on the Demo Yaris, and it sounded amazing, this was a different exhaust from the TRD one from what I remember.
