Exclamation 2NZ-FE, What would you do?

As the title asks, I just wanted to know if you guys were stuck withan automatic 2NZ-FE 3 Door Vitz what would you do?

Rules:

Selling it is out of the Question
Engine Swap is out as it is too costly

Goal:

At least 120 ps

Budget $1000 USD

Yes, I am secretly asking this to explore my own tuning options

I'd just do a few low cost bolt-on's like this...

...and a loud muffler.

Your car won't be fast,
but it will sound fast.

short ram intake - $80~$180
cold air intake - $150~$250
racing headers - $150~$260
axle-back exhaust - $280~$360
cat-back exhaust - $450~$550
Garm's intake manifold ~ $700

lol this is probably a +10 -15 ish hp gain with headers intake and exhaust and intake manifold.

it is a 2NZ-FE so i'm not really sure that the intake manifold will even bolt on.

I think it might just bolt right onto the 2NZ head...
Looking at the 2NZ FE specs showed that it's the same bore as a 1NZ with only a shorter stroke. Under the hood clearance of other components is an unknown, but could easily be determined with some careful measurements. Even that exhaust header pictured above is listed as fitting both 1.3 and 1.5 engines.

I have been looking around but I can't seem to find any headers, it also sounds like I should visit my local fab shop as decats are legal where I live

Leave it as is. It's meant to be a granny mobile. Nah.. Seems to me the common mods are ; 1zz throttle body, spacer and garms intake manifold.

Upgrade your suspension and smoke fast vehicle in to the turns. They brake in the turn and your gas exit the turn.

Yes, definitely won't ignore the suspension and I don't see my Vitz as a 'granny mobile' =P

Would it be possible to stroke the 2nz to a 1.5? If possible how would I go about doing it?

Doesn't the NCP10 use xA/xB peripherals, like cable throttle?

Do I have to do something like balance it before installing it on my 2nz-fe engine? I mean are they interchangeable like a replacement to my previous crank , pistons, connecting rods?
