please prove this blanket statement with dyno graphs of a stock exhaust yaris vs a 2.25" exhaust, done on the same day, same air temperature, same humidity, same yaris.

i have to agree with peterpoop... im running 2.25" pipes on my Nissan Titan (5.6L 321hp with 353 ft lbs/tq running 13.88 in 1/4 mile)... Originally the pipes are only 1.98". If i go up to 2.5" than ill be losing enough low end torque that i cannot get a good 60' time. BUt, the high end will be better since the flow will be faster... But for low to mid range, i think 2.25" is a little high...

test them at a Drag Race Track. Doesn't matter the driver, well kinda does. But take 2 yaris'. Same Mods, except the only difference is that one is 2" piping and the other is 2.25" pipes. You will see that the 2" will have a better 60' and all the way up to the 1/8 mile... BUt after that the 2.25" will take over because there is more air flow...

But, this isn't really the thread to discuss this. I just had to put this out there since there is also confusion with my truck with other people thinking bigger is better, which is not... :D

Oh, how come i see more pics than videos of the exhausts? I want more videos and more burnouts. LOL

I have Posted my Pics here to and I found for everyday use 2" is better to zip along with tafic etc. I have also tested this theory already, and I speak my Yari is getting Dyno Tuned branches\Headers being Build for it, what I will do is try and post the Dyno Charts for the diffrent Pipes and header combo's, I am in SA though but it could be used as a guide for everyone else out there, btw it is the T1 and its being done by Viper Exhaust, I Cant wait....

i think the only thing the dyno charts will do is show different points of shifting or is it the location of the peak power for the car...

2." for more of a down low hp and tq and 2.5" for up top... itll might show the same or close to numbers, but the power band will be different... anyways, don't forget to show video and pics of the dyno!! :D

I wil do my best bro, One thing to remember, it is a 1KRFE, at the moment they have finished the branch and silencer System! We are just waiting for the knuckle's (connectors) originally I was getting 58Kw out of the original custom exhaust... I got the results today for that, so as soon as the knuckles come in and we have tested this I will let you guys know... The guys at Viper is really out doing themselfes, and I will be the first ever Yari T1 with developed Exhaust\Header and not those Crappy BS you get for a 1\4 of the price.... WIll keep you guys Up to date!!
