Power Outlet Addition

Alright here is my problem. I want to add another power outlet to the car. I am using the small hole next to the steering column where the power window control would be located. But I need to know where I can wire it into. Rather not wire everything all the way back into the other cig lighter but not sure where else I can wire it into. Anyone got any ideas.

Aaah I see... then you gotta find yourself a ground wire and a 12V wire around there... Got a multimeter handy? That would be your best tool.

I'm rewiring my entire front and back (3 additional power outlets + hardwired tomtom, sat rad, and radar dect).... so as soon as either the garage at work gets cleaned out, or weather gets warm I'll be creating a DIY for it....

Yeah I ended up wiring it into the other power outlet I figured two outlets and two LED Lights were not enough to overload it. Works alright for now. :)

You could use one of these in the fuse box just below where you put that outlet.

You have Auto Zone in Norfolk - you can get them there.
