no lawyer needed, just go up the chain. Toyota will love to hear how the dealership treated you, and Toyota regional reps are also in charge of keeping the dealers in line.
You could also notify the local media, they are always looking for stories on how local businesses mistreat normal people. And bad publicity is really a good way to get the dealers attention. Write your story and post it everywhere in your community there is a cork board for such things. And play up how excited you were about the car and all of that as well. Then of course complaining to every agency that cares about such things as well helps.
