Smile Hello all, Ive just obtained my Brand new Yrx :)

Hello all,

First of all im Hannah, i live in Flooded Queensland at the moment- been isolated since boxing day, and finally a road has opened up yesterday to the north,

I purchased my 2010 Silver pearl Yrx about 4 weeks ago.
i couldnt wait, so i searched australia for one, and turns out there was only 2 left in the country till late feb.

So i snapped up the silver one - got a flight to Melbourne and drove her home to Rainy Queensland.

Im ever so happy with it, execpt one, the lights arnt to bright, for our roads.
even with the foggies on,

though any tips will be good, :)
Has anyone got Cruise control as well ?

I have the auto 5door, Easy car to drive and very roomy for a little car, My last car was 2005 ch Mitsubishi Lancer.

At this present time with all the flooding going on ive had to leave her behind from my christmas break and fly home on a charter flight as all our roads are 3m over with water,

but now one has opened up im about to make a long drive around to get her home.

Eversince ive had my Yaris all its seen is rain and floods. so its now nicknamed the Yariboat.

Ive noticed theres not many of you from australia on here, but its all good, :)

i hope to learn alittle more from you all :)
Ps ive added some photos.

not very good ones ,just from the first day i had it.
the water is what we had to drive through in Dubbo.
The day before she got driven out of the showroom :(

Welcome to the forum. Congrats on your purchase!

Good to hear nothing happened to your car. Poor Queenslanders, been seeing it on the news.

Hope it all clears up soon.

Cheers

Hi

Hi hannah im Aaron, I own a silver 2008 yaris YR. Congrats on your purchase. In regards to your lighting situation, yes HID are good but also costly but if you go down to Autobarn and purchace Phillips Bluevision H4 globes for between $55 - $74 bucks they make a huge difference. By the way feel free to browse my yaris site http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3130562/2008-toyota-yaris
