where is my horn located? 2007 3 door

I bought this Yaris three years ago and everything always worked except the horn. This unit had a salvage title and I was told that it was hit relatively lightly in the front end. (It may be a salvage title but its the best car that I have owned and I am 53 years old) A friend and I searched for the horn one day and was unable to find it, I was wondering if possibly if the horn was damaged and was removed but not replaced. Not a big deal as I am not much of a horn blower anyway but still like to have everything in working order. Any insight from this very knowledgable forum would be much appreciated. thanks

As you look at the front of the car and through the upper grill opening, it should be hanging down in front of the right half of the radiator. It attaches to that upper brace with one bolt.

You should be able to see it through the upper grille, but you have to take off the whole bumper to access it.

Thanks

Thanks Guys, If it were a snake it would have bitten me. Now I can start looking for the problem. I especially thank you Revsson for the repair link.

You're welcome Suey.
BTW, the entire repair manual is under the DIY/Maintenance/Service area or at:
http://www.etimago.com/yaris/repairmanual/
Lots of good info there, much of it beyond my abilities, but helpful.

I replaced my horn with the Toyota Premium horn kit when I installed
fog lights, so I had the bumper off to work on the horn.
