Just recently switched to Polished OZ futura 3pc. 18x8 / 18x9 on 205 35 r18

Here are some updated photos

Those new wheels are fricken hot! Great job.

While going thru all the pages of nice wheel/tire setups I've notice many that choose to leave the rotors/calipers and drums all rusty and nasty looking.
If you are gonna upgrade wheels and tires I feel that the other parts need love too. Otherwise just leave the steelies and hubcaps on IMHO.

And painting is stupid. Big wheels with drums and little calipers and rotors are cheesey... Do a Brembo Big Brake upgrade and rear disc conversion or don't bother...

Now that is extreem the other way. Big oversized brakes up front and rear discs are overkill and not needed on such lightweight cars. They look pretty tho.

pssst... I was being sarcastic. Point being to each his own, if you want to make your brakes pretty go for it! If not, more power to you. I've painted brakes before and unless you intend on redoing them constantly or showing the car... What's the point. If you're worried about looks spend the money and do it right.

I'd never say increased breaking ability was over kill if you intend on doing any sort of spirited driving at all, especially if you added rotating mass with larger wheels.

I agree with 33OH. Those wheels look hella cool with the metallic red lip. Polished with a black lip is like so 2007. The red goes with the tail lights, and a red tow hook will finish it off. Just drop it a couple of inches, and your ride will be "crack pipe" hot.
