lol. wow. really? smog machine? that's a a stretch. i don't know maybe some may buy that as a valid point but i don't. firstly because i bet it will still pass and secondly, i work in the oil and gas industry. when i first started i was pipelining and now i work at a plant that stores NGLs. it sits right next to a fractionation plant. i see shit everyday that would make environmentalist have heart attacks on the spot. so no i don't think i'm being rude by throwing a kit on my ULEV-II yaris. sorry.

Easy. The reason is ego. Tell me you didn't have one when you were a youngster and I'll tell everyone else Yarisworld has a new liar!

Now, if you're bumping in a parking lot at 40, its time to start worrying.

Hah! I resemble that remark - you crazy kids these days with your infernal rock 'n' roll music, when I was a kid I had an AudioVox® Radio with 5W RMS and I was glad to have it - none of this 1,200W RMS per channel ear rupture wattage wired to dual 15's

Now get off my lawn!! - Retro FTW

I hear that...

We have an Image Dynamics rep that we put the system in his car...He's around 55 and demos eminem. It's REALLY pitiful...and creepy.

Maybe I'm jealous, I just listen to well recorded, well mixed music.

huge problem here is with the caprice and old impalas and box chevys on the 24's and the duel 12's in the back with there 2 thousand watt amps going down the road sound system and rims worth 10 times what the car is and all you can hear is mettle grinding and nuts and bolts coming lose. actually had one whos license plate rattled off the car infront of my work. was actually pretty funny to watch

It would be nice if cars with blasting, blaring music would just spontaneously combust.

...naw...

just the operators of said vehicles need to combust. Otherwise that'd be a great waste of a useable vehicle!

Have fun now It won't be long before you need hearing devices for anything below 85 db.(like me)

lol. i think pop music as a whole would probably have to disappear for this to happen. but getting rid of nickelback would be a good start.

ok, so here's my bit of rant for ya.

...I don't give a crap if some youngster thinks I'm creepy for bumping music (responsibly) and modding my car. I don't care if anyone thinks I'm "too old" for this -- it's my fun to have.

You posted that on a public message board, behind his back, but probably didn't say it to his face. So, he's too old and you have no balls. Which is worse?

[ok, ranting is kinda fun, but I'm done for a while]

Garm, you're not afraid to let your inner teenager out

Personally I don't have great hearing, I can't really stand loud noises for too long, so I tend to listen to music in my car at a reasonable level... Heck, the loudest music ever played was when my dad came here and got a new Thai country music CD and cranked it
