I really would like to go, but the wife is opposed to me driving 5 hours both ways (10 hours total)

lol yea 5hr not that bad. i seen texas and arizona plates there last year. thats a long drive. my drive is 7hrs or so and im probably leaving around 5pm on that thurs.

eh....well it's not the length, it's the legal... I can get permission to leave the state, but getting into any trouble at all while I'm gone could be hazardous to my freedom...

well if you were to leave on thurs and STL isnt outta your way id say my lil 2 car convoy could pick ya up so you dont have to cruise alone. Although we are gonna be driving from central MO. kinda later on thurs. probably leave here about 6ish.

Kac: as for getting there early.... you'll be lagged all day sat from the drive. Not to mention you better get to those gates early to get in and get a good area to park. Last year in the afternoon sometime the fire marshall said they had stopped letting cars in cuz they were exceding the amount of vehicles to be in at one time.

I'll be scoping out a good meet up point for us early rollers. A-man is right. If we want to at least be near each other we need to roll early and be rested the night before.....somewhat, depends on your hangover lol
