Probably the same as derick. The only thing I got over the American version is the little amplifier...and Japanese sub menus.

I forecast in a couple years I'll sell the piece and buy into a more advanced processing system. It'd be a long shot to get my hands on a JK Labs type piece.

I know tha SB's processing power is something like 300 dB sloped and a completely infinite parametric equalizer system with a very advanced time alignment process. I'd LOVE to gave the headache of setting that one.

What I think you would like is:

HU to EQ6500

EQ6500 has 3 rca outputs

. for Sub-Woofer (you all ready have an amp for this)

. (get a 4 channel amp) and you could have

Chanels 1 = a passive x-over with 3" or 4" Mids + tweeter

Channel 2 = 6.5" (Mid-bass) in doors (you can use the built in x-over in the amp)

I like much more the one with th 6XS audiocontrol...because i want to change as often as I want the filter.....but I've talked with one of my teacher at college...and I could built a circuit with a PIC and I could program it as a filter.....and build one for tweet, mid bass sub.....but it would be between speaker and amp.....

ps: we are actually drawing our schema for a subwoofer amp....we'll have our amp in MAY or early !

Thanks...and would you have a kit of tweeter,mid-range and mid-bass to suggest me....not as expensive as your system....but....not a crappy system ....

THANKS

Powerbass is a good choice. The "lower power" for the sub might lead me to use a ported enclosure for a bit more output. You could also use two small woofers as well.

I was under the impression that mid bass would be stereo instead of mono.

How about looking for what you want on the net, show us what you are thinking. I've got TONS of pictures of component builds, I'm sure Derick does as well.

...Derick does have a good setup. I wonder who helped there? :P Why not describe what kind of listening you're going to do and we can tailor something for you.

Here's mine:

Any ideas?

That is the amp I'm using to power my Mids, Tweets and Subwoofer.

Channel #5 is in Mono! It won't work for Midbass you need stereo!

...just wait until you see the finished trunk. I'm floating the ML3800 sub woofer with the magnet out in front of the amps as you look into the trunk. I layed down the frame and the bottom glass yesterday. Next week will be more glass buildup. I'll have around a cube and a half for the enclosure.

Anyway, one word of warning, With the ebay purchases...watch yourself. Woofersetc isn't an authorized retailer for Elettromedia. 9 month warranty? Seriously? That's an in house trick. You won't be getting factory support if something goes wrong.

You're closer to Palmer than I am to you. Perhaps one of us can work something out for you to get the real product.
