Installing OEM Aux Input - 2008 Sedan

This is totally out of nowhere, but I have one of these:

and that's it. I've also never done any stereo work of any kind before. Is this something that would be too ambitious to try as a beginner? What parts would I need, and where should I look for information on how to install it?

If I were to take it in somewhere, what would you recommend I do/ask and how much should I expect to pay?

Help me, please! I hate not having an aux input in my car, and I don't want to replace the head unit because I want to keep it all stock for whatever reason.

Yep, I've read that before, but I wasn't able to locate that plug by the gear shifter. I also removed the head unit and saw that the corresponding harness was missing. What I need is the harness, the plug for the AUX adapter itself, and the wires between the two.

You can't purchase the harness, as it is part of the dash harness. Your best bet is to find a junkyard with a Yaris with Aux and harvest that part of the harness.
