Wireless door controller/ dashboard disassembly

So after going through the dash breakdown in my manual it indicated that the wireless module is by the driver side (left) air vent. Has anyone pulled out the speaker and been able to see the module. Otherwise from the book if you pulled the cluster all the ductwork is in the way and you would have to do everything to peel off the entire top. Can you get to it from below? It looks like you can't. I won't get a chance to take a look around until this weekend. The curiosity is killing me.

I have this small feeling/hope that maybe I have one installed and its not activated. I want to be able to go to a yard and pull one if I dont and I'll just buy a new remote and reprogram it.
