Gauging interest on hub spacers for the yaris

i'm getting ramped up to build more hub spacers and want to get a semi-accurate count on how many i should build.

please choose "yes" in the poll if you'd be interested in spacers @ $75shipped to continental US (and reasonable shipping to canada too of course)

if the results are favorable i'll be getting a vendor account here :)

they allow you to get your vehicle's track width closer to equal. the car normally comes with about 1" wider track front vs rear.

one of those "little" mods that you can actually feel in the corners

they also allow you to buy a "proper" offset wheel for the front of your car and space the rear out to look more flush (without rubbing). they're "better" than wheel spacers, as they do not require you to have longer lug bolts, and because you're spacing the HUB not the WHEEL, you do not see as much wear on wheel bearings.

will come with class 12.9 socket head capscrews (allen head) and hardened washers.

very difficult to do that, as i don't know the specific drop your car has. as the suspension compresses, negative camber turns into toe-in.

i could, however, provide two stainless washers to be installed under the lower front bolt. this is how i achieved my current setup (toe out, and a little extra camber)

I've got the v 1.0s on our Yaris currently and they are great. Getting a 2nd set of 13mm's is kind of tempting though.

Keep me posted on the progress of this, count me in. :)

if you want to test how this would fit, i have wheels that'll essentially give you the same offset as 13mm spacers & your current wheel setup.

or were you thinking to ADD 13mm to your current 10mm?

I was thinking of swapping the 10s for the 13s.

and keeping the 10's just in case.

the price is too good not to have 2 different sets, having the flexibility to easily change the rear spacing when I buy new wheels is really comforting.

one is 10 mm wide

the other is 13mm wide

so the difference is 3mm

what wheel/tire are you running, and on what suspension?

I think Every Yaris needs this, it really changes the handling/look, as they say you "need" a +42mm in the front to avoid rubbing, but you don't "need" a +42mm in the rear, hell I'm running a +25mm effective offset in the rear right now. :)

what's the width/offset on the wheels

stick out isn't the correct term.

it will push the wheel outward 13mm total from where it is now.

it will not stick out unless you have an offset of 30mm or lower to start with.
