I love my yaris and hopefully I can have a get together at the cape cod canal before fall semester starts. Has anybody seen any bike racks for our Yaris' yet?? I used my old on my old car and it dented my rear trunk and just last week i used it on my g/f's 2004 honda civic and it made to dent marks to next to the license bracket... NOT GOOD *I am trying to stretch out money to buy a new trunk w/o her knowing............ lol

both thule & yakima are "looking into" a fit kit for the yaris. I was told by thule that a rough time frame would be 2 months. I believe they have a kit for the euro 2 door Vitz. Search on ebay. Thule USA cant get that.

U can use the Thule hatch rack. supposed to be decent... not sure though. im on the fence of buying it. it would help with the fuel effec. as opposed to having bikes on the roof.

I ended up wit ha Scion xA because I didn't want to wait until November for a Yaris to be delivered ( LB, 5 spd, power pkg). I'm happy with the xA for only 1100 more, and it comes with all the power options standard, plus a few extras to boot The xA is same as the Canadian Yaris 5 door. I only waited 3 weeks for the Scion.

If you're willing to travel, it looks like a dealer in Springfield usually has the cars on their lot. I'd call them up to make sure their website is up to date (currently showing 4 - 1 man hb, 3 auto sedan). I had been thinking about going there just to test drive because none of the dealers in my area had them and that's 1 & 1/2 hrs from me.

I believe that it is 35% reflective. So if you get 40% tint, you should be fine... but 40% is NOT dark at all. I got 20% on the sides and 40% on the hatch... no problems (cops) yet.

Hey Sam, you still around Taunton?

"35%" is the legal limit but with tint already in windows if you get 35% it will really be like a 32 33 percent....happened to me....but im fighting the ticket on the 26th
