The Yaris is OBDII compliant over CAN BUS and coolant temp and RPM are standard OBDII PIDs, so any hardware/software combo that supports OBDII via CAN Bus will work. With the iphone you are somewhat limited because the iphone doesn't support the bluetooth serial port mode, required by most of the bluetooth OBDII interfaces. So, for the iphone you typically need a more expensive WiFi based OBDII device.

just type that into amazon. I did and it came up with quite a few things for what you are asking.

you could also just get an ultragauge and it is right there.

update

Hey thanks folks I got my answer yesterday. The elm32 obd2 tester does work with apple's program REV2, and an iphone of course. A little pricey but worth it i think. Also tested the program FUZZYCAR and it worked also just not as many bells & whistles as the REV program. Fuzzycar is only $5 bucks at the apple's app store.

good luck folks.......
