I want bigger wheels for my '10 Hatchback Yaris
I have a 2010 Hatchback 3 door Yaris with the original 15 inch tires.
Please advise me on a size wheel and tire that will fit inside the stock wheel openings with NO modification. |

17x7 ET43 with a 205/40/17 tire would also get the job done.
You might want to spend time reading the wheel and tire guide thread... http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5021 |

^^^ Yes. On stock suspension, I would run OEM size 205/45/17's.

you can go all the way up to 18s with those not very good looking trd optional wheels if you want.

Considering how bad most roads seem to be today (who needs infrastructure, after all), I don't think I would want to drive/ride on anything lower-profile that XXX/50 series tires - which is what the Yaris happens to need with 16" wheels to maintain factory specifications for speedometer accuracy, etc. 16" wheels are also the perfect look with the Yaris using the factory suspension setup. If you don't mind throwing the speedometer off a wee-bit (~3 MPH I think), you could even run XXX/55 series tires with 16" for a better ride & less fender gap. I'm thinking about doing this with my first tire replacement in about a year. The 16" wheels on the SE could have used a tasteful 0.75" more factory drop, instead of what it was given as default (probably the same as the L/LE has).
I don't think that 17-18" wheels looks right/good on the Yaris without lowering springs (~1.5" drop) - assuming you can even stand riding on those lower-profile tires. |

205/50r16 is a great tire for all round. Enough sidewall to keep the ride comfy. Been running them on the o8 3d for a 2010. Doing everything from camping/desert play the teaching the little one how to city drive.
Ps 18s are too big. Stupid harsh and unless you have a serious Johnson under the hood of your yaris the weight of the wheel/tire combo will steal a lot of ponies |
