2007 S Sedan Questions

Alarm
I installed an alarm. THe problem i'm having is that the alarm will lock the doors when armed. When I disarm the alarm tho, the doors will only unlock if I havent closed the doors. If I close the doors then lock the car the alarm will not unlock the doors unless I first unlock the drivers door with the key, then it will unlock the car. Also when I lock the car then push the door triger in manually. The lock/unlock button on the car will not work to unlock the doors. It locks them but will not unlock them unless I use the key to unlock.

Car Stereo
I have seen the guides to intalling a stereo, but I have the S sedan with power package, which means I have the stereo that is built into the console. Is there suggestions how I should go about installing a regular stereo to replace the factory one?
My Stereo looks like this one

I'm not sure about the alarm, but there are plenty of guides here to remove the console's cover, after that it would be a matter of yanking out the original head unit, and replacing the console cover with one that is designed for an external head unit. I'm quite sure I saw a guide about all that here too!

People with the integrated stereo like mine and yours are going to the dealership and buying the piece for the other type of stereo. It fits the same but it actually has a hole for a din and a half or whatever it is. Get that piece from Toyota then a Yaris or echo or whatever kit they are using and a cd player and they fit, but you have to get that other dash piece from Toyota. I think someone said they are like $65.

Start with the basic, make sure you have the right lock/unlock wires. Then you have to program your alarm to double pulse when it unlocks. What kind of alarm did you install??

12Volts = Yellow(25Amp), Gray(15A), +, Ignition Harness
Starter = Black (X2 and are common), +, Ignition Harness
Ignition = Pink, +, Ignition Harness
Second Ignition = Green, +, Ignition Harness
Accessory = White, +, Ignition Harness
Keysense = Yellow, -, Ignition Harness
(Use this wire to disarm the factory alarm w/o unlocking doors)
Power Lock = Brown, -, Driver Kick
Power Unlock = Green, -, Driver Kick
(Meter wire while turning key in the driver door key cylinder, to
Unlock driver door only single pulse, double pulse to unlock
all doors)
Parking Lights = Green, +, Fuse Box
Parking Lights = White, -, By Ignition Harness
High Beam = White, -, By Ignition Harness
Reverse Light = Red, +, Fuse Box
Dome Light = Pink, -, Fuse Box
Driver Door = Red, -, Fuse Box
Pass Door = Blue, -, Fuse Box
Rear Doors = Yellow, -, Fuse Box
Trunk Pin = Lt. Blue, -, Fuse Box
Park Switch = Black, -, Gear Shift
Tachometer = Lt. Green, AC, Data Link Conn.
Brake Wire = Green, +, Fuse Box
Parking Brake = Yellow, -, Fuse Box
Horn = Black, -, By Ignition Harness
Speed Sense = Purple, Fuse Box
LF Window up/dn = Red / Green, Driver Door
RF Window up/dn = White / Pink, Driver Kick
LR Window up/dn = Yellow / Black, Driver Kick

The stock head unit in the Sport is not that bad at all... and I was previously using a Alpine head unit in my old car and I really like the sound quality. Now, the green illumination of it is another story though.
