power windows stop going down when hot

Hey Guys Since its nice and hot here now I have noticed that when I get in my car after work that my windows will only go down a little ways and then stop and a few minutes later they will go down farther.
Is there some heat circutry in the motor to cut it off or is it likely just the window sticking and drawing to many amps causing the window to stop.

The windows move up and down just fine in the morning when the car is cool.

I'm guessing you didn't get the recall notice in the mail? Toyota sent those out because of a defect on the switch for your windows. They will lube the switch and it should be good as new.

My window played up before as well. It moved up and down then stopped moving completely. Funny thing is i got the RE CALL letter a week or so later when the problem started. Explaining the problem of the switch.

Just get the recall printed out and go to your closest Toyota dealer. You might not even need the paperwork and they'll fix it for free.

I've gotten something fixed by Honda in the past due to a "recall" on a catalytic converter that was good for 15 years and they gave me a ride home and a ride back when it was completed. They even changed the spark plugs, wires, distributor cap/rotor. Not saying Toyota dealerships are like this but hey, you never know till you try.
