Cheap DIY. Needing to improve my hatch

Hey guys, I haven't been on here much. But here's the deal. I'm driving my Yaris a lot more often now due to the fact I blew a Head Gasket in my Duramax pickup (my baby). Due to the LARGE repair bill, I'm saving money to fix the truck, so the truck is stuck in the garage. Long story short, I'm left with the Yaris.

Now I bought a Micro-Image Arm rest because I was tired of having my arm hanging off the side.

My yaris is a 2010 3 door Hatch. Black Sand Pearl. I need some quick, easy, and cheap mods to make me enjoy this vehicle more. So could you guys help?

#1- Seatbelt ding, omg how do you get rid of it?
#2- Traction control? How do I turn it off quickly without having to screw with the emergency brake 4 times?
#3- More power wouldn't hurt

Some easy and relatively cheap mods make things a little more enjoyable:

1.) Light-weight crank pulley: Frees up a little power and gives the car some extra pep. look for one on the for-sale section or head over to microimage to pick one up.

2.) Short-shift kit: Makes shifting a lot more enjoyable, and fixes the stock mushy emotionless shift throw. Same deal as #1, look on microimage or scoop up one from someone selling one here.

3.) Handling: Take your pick -- lowering springs, struts, a rear sway bar. A better suspension can make a slow car more fun because you can stay quick throughout the twists and turns. Ditto for getting stuff: MI or the FS section.

Just a quick few things that I've done that are relatively cheap and have yielded some more driving enjoyment (my #3 is lowering springs, BTW). I'm sure that some other folks on here will have some more ideas and help if you need it.

for power, best things are your basic bolt ons trio, and that lightweight pulley. best cheap power mod is drill holes in the bottom of your intake box, remove the silencer tube, and get a high flow filter which is like 50 bucks.

I agree with everyone as far as wearing your seatbelt but I will admit that when I am carrying stuff in the passenger seat (boxes and what not) it is really annoying to hear the thing chime and chime and chime. Mine goes off after a while.... a long while. not sure if there were updates to the 2010.

The power thing is one that you have to decide if you want a little power or if you want a descent amount. I started with the little stuff but then decided that I wanted to go for a little bit more. I ended up with a short ram intake, lightweight crank pulley, tri-Y header, and resonator back mandrel bent 2" exhaust with glass packed muffler. I am no hot rod but it made a huge difference over stock.

I don't have traction control so sorry, no help there.

About the seatbelt thing, i drive around parking lots and driveway to driveway type of driving a lot, so having the thing DING DING DING when im just gonna get out in the next 2 mins is really annoying
