Are there any hood or battery clearance issues with the Ultra racing strut brace

I was considering this one to go with the suspension redo the Yaris is undergoing:

For 99.999% of Yaris owners, those things are just engine bay bling. Put your money elsewhere.

Imho its isnt beneficial until you have tires that can hold much higher g's in a corner and stiff custom spring rates. Those spring place much more stress on the chassis and that is where the strut brace is beneficial.

Like others said it's just bling for the vast majority if yaris owners as what I said above it not even possible on public roads unless you're trying to get put in jail.

To answer your question though it would be a tight fit if you have a group 35 (or 36, I can't remember) battery as opposed to the 26r that comes with the car which is slightly shorter iirc.

I've not seen any tower brace having issues with battery clearance. What I believe you can guarantee is the hood support rod is rendered useless.

Ive got a duralast Gold in there at the moment.. I’ll have to look and see what type that is. Would it be labeled on the battery?

Yup typically right on the top where it shows CCA and overall amperage
