Great pictures. Good to know that one can tow a jet ski with a Yaris/Vitz. I've seen pictures in this section of many things being towed, but yours is the first jet ski I've seen. Your location kindles a desire (in the future, when the current strife is well behind us) to take the longest scheduled Trans-Siberian Railway route (which is also the longest scheduled train route in the world) from Kiev to Vladivostok, passing through your city. One of my best friends used to be married to a woman who is a native of Moscow, and his Russian is pretty good. I'll make sure he comes with me if I make the trek.

It sounds like an interesting place.....with such varied influences and so close to the border with China. It looks much more appealing (in your pictures) re air quality than pictures I've seen/what friends have said about Vladivostok (about 500 miles away, if I'm not mistaken).
