Webasto Sunroof installed!! (But..)

Hi all, it's been a long time coming (seems like), but I finally got what I wanted: a moonroof (ahh.. the open air feeling ). Lifetime warranty on parts, 3 yr warranty on labor. The model is (Webasto) Hollandia 735, which is full inbuilt, tilt and slide. There is a slight curve when looking from inside but it looks fine in person- it's cuz the glass needs somewhere to go. They also moved my light on ceiling-cool, I thought I was gonna lose that. I was gonna go with Inalfa until I found out Webasto alone has over 50% market share in sunroof manufacturing industry, and is in a lot of factory added options! I'm sooo happy with it. Price was $1199, took one full day. I was soo happy with it I took lots of pics, enjoy

(More shots in next reply box since I can only upload 5 at a time).................................

ok I just spent 30 min trying to upload the pics as jpg attachments and a pop up says, "Specified invalid post, if you followed a valid link please contact the administrator", and I have.. so maybe I'll try again tomo

hmmm how big are your pics? if they're very large it will be almost impossible to upload (and for us to see them). Or else, try uploading them one at a time, or using photobucket.com

Believe me, I want yall 2 c em so I can brag a little , I dunno what to do. The prob is not that the size of the images r 2 big cuz I've done it b4.. I have a Nautical Blue (darker blue) S sedan with fog lights and an exhaust tip.. the moonroof was the last thing I wanted. I used to have a rice rocket but surprisingly I have gotten over that flashy stage and now my Yaris has the perfect sporty look and fully pimped out factory style I whip out my tiny Garmin 360 navigation and wanna drive my car every darn where!

First person willingly to take on the task can reply with their email and I'll send the pix to you as attachments, and you will nicely and quickly post them (probably in 2 separate replies since u can only upload 5 at a time) for all 2 see!

Open the picture in Microsoft Paint and go to "Image" then click on Then Strech/Skew In the "Strech" section type 50 and 50... then OK... This will cut the picture in 1/2

lol ur funny.

And to the guy about the ford festiva (can't quote twice in one post), it depends on your perception of what something's worth to you. The moonroof was pricey but it makes me sooo happy. One of my happiest moments everyday (with my previous cars) is when I'm driving home at night with the moonroof open, feeling the breeze, blasting my fave music, and occasionally looking up at the stars and sky.

Ok that was cheesy. But you'd be hard-pressed to find a reliable, sporty, safe, good mileage gettin', head and side air baggin', head turnin', kinda rare car on the road for less than $20 g's brand new! And that's counting the sales tax, moonroof, and my navi accessory :)

That looks really great! They did a really nice job on the headliner. You should be really pleased.

I'm still waiting for someone to install the Webasto panoramic sunroof like the one that comes in some mini coopers. Now that would be hot!

Get a festiva spend about 5k total and it will beat most cars on the track and alot at the strip.

I may be wrong, but think I remember the shop guy saying that the sunroof I got was the largest that would fit (and the pic you posted of it seems huge)

My biggest concern with any sunroof, but especially something like the dual-plane panoramic on the MINIs is the added weight. We're not driving the quickest car around to begin with; I'd be hesitant to slow it down any more.

Still, that install looks slick. Very nice.
