*WARNING* DO NOT PURCHASE FROM Speed-Element Motorsports!!!

Late September I ordered a replacement wheel. I swerved to avoid a truck that ran a stop sign and hit a curb. Found a place that was pretty cheap, offered free shipping and had the wheel I needed. I placed my order. Over a week goes by, no updates. I finally call and on the 3rd day get a guy who said they can't find my wheel, it's Friday and almost everyone left for the weekend 3 hours early. He said I would get a call back Monday.
No call Monday, but they shipped my wheel. I wanted to cancel my order so I was peeved but figured at least the wheel was on its way.

Another week.

Wheel arrives. Wrong fucking wheel. I ordered a black Drag DR-9. They sent me the one with the polished lip which isn't what I ordered, and the center cap isn't even the same.

A month later I'm STILL trying to get a hold of them to fix this. I keep calling, no answer except for voicemail and they don't return calls. I did manage to talk to a guy yesterday who said he would talk to his manager and call me back that day and email me a shipping label to send the wheel back.

No emails, no calls. Still can't call them.

The place is called Speed-Element Motorsports

I should have just went to discount tire. The manager there told me he could have had the wheel to me in 2 days, for cheaper.

Just a fair warning to those of you out there looking for wheels, look elsewhere!

you probably purchased a wheel that's discontinued.

sell the remaining three and move on...

Why did you not buy it from Discount tire then? Are you a really impatient type?

Well it's not a discontinued wheel, or I would have. And if I had the $$$ I would have just replaced them with a new set anyway. Probably something lighter.

I didn't event think of ordering from discount tire. Around here for as long as I can remember it's only been Les Schwab and a few small independent stores. So you only could get what they have in the catalog, no special orders. Discount tire only came in last year around here, so the concept of "choice" locally has been the internet.

They're finally sending me the correct wheel, but it was $7 more than the one they actually sent/billed me for.

If you paid with a credit card be sure to dispute the charge and get your money back. If they want the wheel back the onus will be on them to contact you, firmly placing the ball in their court.

Credit card dispute is awesome, I brought a ps3 game and they send me a wrong one then I just went online banking and click the dispute, I got my money back w/ a $1 charge from the bank and the seller never called, so I got the ps3 game for free.

Micro Image is happy to ship to UAE and have sent lots of parts over there.

Shipping might be a little expensive (best if you can group an order with other people), but you get my personal guarantee of good service, expert advice and fast shipping. 'nuff said.

We now offer wheels/tires/packages, and can usually even compete with places like Tire Rack.

If you going to buy online go to www.raceinspired.com I have ordered from them twice. first time was for the Apexi axle-back exhaust for my yaris. 2nd time was for a MOMO Mod 69 steering wheel for my 1990 mazda miata. no problems at all.
