OK. I thought that was the case.

Check for the presence of the connector D3 wires on the steering column connector. My 06-11 cruise control DIY shows the wire locations:

OK. I see the blue and brown under the black, which should mean that it is wired for cruise. It also looks like it is wired for steering wheel audio controls. Do you see the cruise control indicators in the instrument cluster?

OK. I am not sure about differences in features for the Mexican market Yaris, but it sounds like everything necessary is in place.

The only other thing I can think of to check is the presence of the ECM connector pin.

The A21 pin being missing on the 2016 may mean that the Mexico market ECM does not support cruise control.

Traction control requires support of both the ECM and the ABS ECU, so it can not be added without changing those (and making sure that all of the supporting sensors are present).

For the US Market Yaris that is true. I have not had experience with adding cruise to Mexico market Yaris, so we will find out with your work.

To test it, you can remove the rubber plug from that pin hole and stick a small piece of wire in from the back of the connector. If you measure the voltage on that wire with the ignition switch in the ON position you will see +12 V on that pin, if your car supports cruise control.

1. Remove the negative wire from battery.

2. Remove the EMC Connector.
2.1 remove the waterproof Rubber plug
2. 2 install a wire

3. Reconnect the EMC connector
4. Reconnect negative wire to battery

5. Turn on the key
5.1 check wire voltage , if show 12v, it will work
