2010 3door PWR PKG in the driveway!!
Think I did ok $13470 plus Tax title and all the other dealer fees
They even had $20 transport tax?? $75 doc fees?? adds up to about $250 in B.S.!! Yeah, up front pricing.ha..ha..! I LIKE this car what a kick,5speed makes it fun to drive! I added cruise control $150 bucks all toyota factory parts! EZ! Helps me not to speed in in the ticket zones!! Dealer wanted $500bucks to add it on. I guess thats how they pay for those fancy showrooms!

Congrats! I wasn't charged any type of transport tax or documentation fee, etc. I know what you mean about the fancy showroom. Where I go the floors are all granite & marble, huge fireplace, 50" flat panel above the fireplace, any kind of non-alcoholic drink you want while shopping or waiting for service, donuts & cookies, etc. Even the bathroom looks like the Bellagio in Vegas.

That's not a bad price. I paid $14,038 a year ago for my '10 hatchback w/power pkg. That included all dealer fees, but not sales tax. With TTL added to it I paid $15,180.....not the best deal, but not bad either. I am happy with the Yaris, although I saw 2 Fiat 500's (without camoflage!) today and I may jump ship when they go on sale!

i think that is a pretty good price. You can argue all those other fees as well. They don't need to charge any of them except TTL, which does not go to the dealer.

Congrats to a new owner.....Just looked at those Fiat 500"s mentioned by another. I like and added it to my list behind the Miata and TC.

they charge you for transport one way or the other, the car has to get to the dealer one way or the other nothing is free, but what is total bs is the doc fee's some dealers charge $500. I work at a dealer I gave them a chance to find me a yaris I gave them like 2 weeks and they couldnt find me a car so I looked on ebay and found one and bought it on the spot their doc fee's are only $99 my dealerships are $399.

What dealership did you buy it from?
I bought my first Yaris at Bloomington Walser 4 years ago :) You got a great price ... I just got my 2010 in August and paid $16,100 out the door for it. |

Walser is my favorite dealership ever. I LOVED them. They worked with me for 3 weeks to find me a car I liked when I was looking around. The Yaris wasn't even close to the first car I was thinking about, and I just ended up getting the only fully loaded Sedan they had that wasn't white. This was back when they first got to the US though, so I didn't really know anything about them. You'll love dealing with them - Walser is awesome! And, if you get the Walser Rewards card - you'll really like racking up the points when it comes to buy your next car and you get a bit off when you purchase it :)
Seems like you're also going to break it in to the MN winters right away lol All my friends/family have been sending me pictures and telling me about the horrible weather up there right now. |

they actually can. If a car sits on a lot for a few months and the bank interest charges start to rack up, dealerships can lose money on cars they sell. It is usually rare though.

Ah....OK. I was just going by the date of your first post (11/20). I have never driven an auto Yaris and have no desire to do so. I like rowing through the gears too!
