Calm down...

Call Jay at his office and talk to him.
I'm sure there's a reason why it hasn't reached you yet.

Jay's a reliable person and there's no need to take it to this level unless you want to tarnish his name on the forums.

u mean, not everyone responds w/ catlike alacrity to an email?-a phone call might be in order? yes, i'm a smartass. but if u post in a forum hopefully u've had the experience of an email client or anti-virus software that ritually classifies the wrong email as being spam (mind u i don't have the same issues on my Mac as opposed to the various clients and AV software i've tried on my windows machine). as noted, try other venues before forum bashing, this coming from a moderator of a different forum all together.

Hello Mr n00bie moderator.. Lock or delete the post.

DNGZ - try calling Jay direct? There is NO excuess for a 4 week delay, WITHOUT any contact to you explaining why... but in the meantime, try calling him, he's good people and a Supporting Vendor here, so Im sure he's not looking to burn bridges.

I would check the tracking number and see if it has shipped. Fed Ex messed up my package for my intake and it took a little longer then anticipated also, but it is hard as hell to run your own business. Jay is good people so keep the stuff like this off the forums.

u miss this?

"this coming from a moderator of A DIFFERENT FORUM all together." for over 2 years. noob. ;)

actually when dealing with a smaller business there can in fact be reasons/excuses for late delivery and/or lack of correspondence.

1) owner dies
2) loss of family member
3) hospitalization of self or loved one, due to severe illness
4) etc etc.

i get what you're saying, and if it's nothing severe then yes there is no good excuse for poor correspondence. But when you choose to deal with a smaller shop/business there typically ends up being a trade off in service as compared to some 24/7 uber store. i.e.-large chain means if serious stuff goes down someone else just takes over that position. in a personally owned business it's not such a luxury if you're the head cheese who knows the ins and outs of everything.

I'd personally prefer dealing with the small business and just accept the tradeoffs, but that's me. I hope the OP gets his situation worked out. :)

Do we have "moderators"?

I don't mean Bueller or the other admins, but dedicated moderators...

yes yes, i'm foolish to think that your comment regarding moderating had anything to do with my comment about moderating, seeing as how your comment followed my post and had used such specific quotes or an address of some sort to indicate who you were talking to. ;)

hmm, let's try a more overt route...

Facetious

Keep thinking the chest is even puffed. You'll feel better, smarter, and more important for it. <3
