Fog Lights
OK, I want to add some OEM-style foglights to my 08 hatchback. I've heard eBay or jimcat are the best sources, can anyone recommend an eBay seller or tell me how to get in touch with jimcat and how much cheaper the sets he sells are?
Plus, info on anyone to steer clear of would be gratefully appreciated as well! Cheers! M2 |

I bought mine from Kargoboy. They just arrived this week. Can't wait to install them.

Thanks, but the $35 shipping nearly doubles the price! Are there any sellers in the States selling the same product with cheaper shipping; or does he give discounts for forum members?
Cheers! M2 |

$90, plus shipping and handling, according to the link posted above. And it only looks like the lights, is the wiring harness and switch included? Plus, what does "OEM Taiwan accessory" equate to anyway? Are these the same lights as Toyota sells, or the "OEM-equivilent" sets you see all over eBay?
Cheers! M2 |

They look exactly like the ones that come with the Yaris (those that come with them from the factory).
It comes with the black shroud that the lights go in (the shrouds replace the blanks you currently have in the bumper), wiring harness w/ fog light relay, and the switch. You should ask him what he means by "OEM Taiwan accessory". |

This is what came in the box. Before the hack, there were good reviews of both JimCat's and Kargoboy's products.

The foglights from kargoboy are OEM. Toyota in different countries outsource their accessory parts from manufacturers in that country to keep costs down. Toyota of Taiwan outsource these foglights from a company called BriteView in Taiwan and they make it to exact Toyota specs which means that these foglights are high quality.

Yup. That's the switch that came with my Kargoboy fog light kit. I didn't use it though. I bought a new headlight stalk that has the fog light switch built in.

I threw away the bag it came with (had the sticker w/ the part number), but this is what I ordered:
http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...07&catalogid=2 Then this to get the fog light indicator to light up on the instrument cluster: http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...07&catalogid=2 |
