how can i make this happen?

so i don't know how appropriate this is but i'm stealing a picture from kuyachris84. he posted earlier with some pictures of his brothers car and one of those was an interior shot. he has the digital display where the first knob is of the heater controls and i was wondering if it is possible to put those knobs into my car. i've seen them in a few pictures and love them!!! i'm not sure of all of the countries that have that but i wish they made them for the US cars.

how much work and money would have to go into putting those into my car?

on that thread is the list of parts, and part numbers you need, and the total projected parts cost was around $2600USD to do the swap, with all the nessesary sensors and such.

This is a control panel for the automatic climate control. In Europe this type of A/C comes only with the most expensive versions of Yaris. You can see that the other two "knobs" are also different as compared to cars with manual air conditioning system.

we aren't messing, that is the actual cost provided by one of our reliable members. the display is not all you are buying, it's an entire automatic climate control, and it isn't available in the states.

FYI, the price difference (same engine, both 5D, manual) between the models with automatic A/C (called Linea Sol Plus) and models without it (Linea Sol) is ca $3000. The Linea Sol Plus also gets keyless entry&start, 15'' alloys, real electric windows, foglights, bluetooth connectivity, stability control and rear disc brakes as standard over the Linea Sol.

Just goes to show how much more expensive the retrofit is.
