Ummmm haha are you serious? Google Diamond racing wheels and all that pops up are dubs, bimmers etc...

Shall i continue to post pics or have i proven my point? You probably dont get on any new gen forums, like stanceiseverything or hellaflush to see what is trendy these days...Rust, junk, wild offsets, wild camber and slammed on a sick set of wheels is in if you havent noticed. But if you are from europe you should already know this?

You are right. Thats what some people think is european but it is not. I have never seen such wheels here. Back in the years steel wheels from Mattig were popular but they look different.

Yeah, I guess being born, raised, having lived in several different countries in Europe and going back about twice a year, I don't know what I am talking about. I should be convinced by all the pictures of cars with American license plates that you posted that this is the "style."

And no, I don't get on any "new gen forums" to see what is "trendy" because honestly I don't give a fuck. That's what happens when you grow up. You'll find that out one day...

Oh wait, I guess Kongo-Otto doesn't know anything about European style either, being that he only lives in Germany...

Nice try, but classic 'fail'....

So have you ever heard of worthersee? The biggest vag meet in the world? It's in Austria.... Most of the cars look like what I posted above??? Stance is what it's all about with euros. That and wild rims! Just pick up a vw or euro tuner mag...

Anybody here knows the Wörthersee Meet. Tire size, wheel size and offset maybe like here in europe but this ugly steel wheels are not. As i said above many years ago a lot of people drove mattig steel wheels, especially 7x14 / 8 x 14 with very low offset. But they look different. And there is something special with the wheels in the US too: You dont use center caps to cover the hub. Thats a no-go here.

If you want to go oldskool german on a VW Golf (Rabbit?) you have to put on some BBS ("Kreuzspeiche") or classic Porsche wheels. Btw thats very european: To put Porsche wheels on a VW, especially the older Porsche Turbo wheels.

The former organizer of the Wörthersee Meet lived at my town until 2008. A very friendly man although i was driving a Toyota Starlet and he was 100% VW he ordered the first parts for my car and helped me with some mods.

Just get the Kosei's and some cool Neon-Chrome lug nuts to go with them. Those Bassets are just glorified steelies, and won't do your Yaris any justice. You could always get orange tape and wrap it around the lip, and have the best of both worlds. Not only will you save time and money by getting the right sized tires and wheels, you will also save yourself some grief by not having to do unnecessary mods to your suspension just to fit some wheels under the wells. Believe me, I know.

I say go for them. They are currently popular on mainly vw's today. I say go with what you want and F*** anyone who tells you otherwise. I'd love a nice set of silver diamond racing wheels on my Yaris.

I think finding all the pictures of Bassetts made him want them more.
I voted Bassett, just to see them on a Yaris with the tuck and poke... oh and because I bought his Rota's :D
