difficulty putting on the NST Alternator Pulley?!?!!

I'm trying to finally put the alternator pulley in and I'm having problems getting it done. I finally removed the alternator after having to get a swiveling long arm ratchet to get the bottom bolt off, but now I'm trying to figure out how to get the pulley off of the Alternator. the bolt is 22mm and the shaft has a 10mm 6pt head on it. Anyone know of a trick to actually get it off? Once i finally get the torque on it it slips and I would prefer not to round off the shaft head(that is what slips right now.

Hiya,

Similar problem, im actually still trying to get the alternator out so i can get the pulley off... Managed to get the 14mm bolt off- that was a pain. Got the 2 black clips out of the alternator, and the wire-stay clip thing... But I dont know how to get the GREY plug/clip out of the alternator. It's hard plastic, and i cant see any pressure clips to pop it off, and i dont want to break it... ><

I saw people had posted the "http://www.etimago.com/yaris/repairmanual/" link for the manual, but the link seems to be dead.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated... Please help ASAP as im half way through my NST pulley / MI Crank pulley install and need to get it finished for work on monday lol.

Short version: HOW DO I GET THE GREY PLASTIC CLIP/PLUG OUT OF THE ALTERNATOR SO I CAN REMOVE IT??

Also, is there a trick for getting the bottom 14mm pivot bolt out of the alternator, it seems to long and is blocked by the A/C pipe fastener things...??

Thanks!

Ok Update- I cracked the plastic cover and exposed the bolt and got it off, and switched out the pulley lol. I also got the pivot bolt out, i had to unbolt the AC fitting thing and pry it aside to get the bolt out though!

Now... How the heck do i get the serpentine tensioner thing out!?!
