Exactly - They are some super cheezy hubcaps with molded in lugs (x5).

HAHAHA I like that! Someone should make stickers of that!

And leave it to Kioshi to notice that. Perhaps the most observant Yaris-enthusiast ever!

More progress today. I pulled the radiator and cracked intake manifold. Since pulling the radiator means also disconnecting the automatic transmission cooler lines, while I had the radiator off, I went ahead and drained the automatic transmission fluid from the AT pan as well.

I picked up a radiator assembly from a local junkyard and installed it. I also installed the intake manifold that I removed from my 09 when I installed my supercharger. I also installed the alternator top bracket removed as well from my 09, since the one on the new crashy was a bit bent.

Since the refrigerant leaked from one of the damaged A/C lines, I went ahead and pulled the compressor for the time being and installed the belt for a no A/C Yaris. I capped off the A/C expansion valve on the fire wall and capped off the removed compressor, so they will be all set if I decide to replace the A/C lines and reconnect the A/C.

I refilled the AT with Toyota ATF WS and tomorrow will drop her off the lift and refill the radiator. I am still waiting for the new bumper and all of the sheet metal parts to arrive (Radiator support, bumper supports, metal bumper piece, fender, and hood). This week I will also get the windshield replaced.

Radiator and Intake removed:

New intake thanks to my supercharged 09:

The pretzel-ed alternator top bracket:

Replacement radiator installed:

Looks like you are making progress .. not something I could ever do. Changing an air filter is about all I could see myself doing .. and only if it was accessible. You are truly the Yaris god for undertaking such a project ... I really wish I had a fraction of the Yaris knowledge that you do.

That's something that I've wanted to have since I was a kid. A couple years ago I finally bought that Max Jax lift and it really is the handiest thing for everything from swapping on the Winter wheels and doing oil changes without laying in the floor to doing major work on vehicles.

Yes. It was owned by a dentist from Staten Island.

Scott...I certainly think some sort of truck is the way to go. How 'bout a wide, rear fendered dually. Seriously...I think it would be very cool. I bet it would be fairly easy to turn a stock steelie around and somehow mount it to another one. I wish I had some PS skills.

Duallies would be a riot, but unfortunately would be boat anchors on a front wheel drive car.

Do you think a couple of extra steelies and some fiberglass fenders would hurt that bad...especially if you are removing weight in other areas to make it a truck?
