Led taillight bulbs

If you're looking for led bulbs for your taillights, I have found these on www.spiderlite.com .

The part's number for a Toyota Yaris 2007 is 3SWEDGEA on the application chart.

There is leds on both sides of the arms that utilise the reflector. It collapses for installation through the standard mounting hole and automatically expands after passing through the mounting hole. No mods required

Simply be aware that these may not be legal to use on the road...if this is a concern for you.

There is some installed pics on their website...no pics on a yaris tho. If I decide to order it I'll post pictures of it on my car...this week I ordered my osram headlight bulbs, silver turn signals, and still have to pay for my tinted windows next week, so that's enought money spent on my car for now.

I just wanted to let you know that these leds fit in our Yaris...in case you were looking for cool led replacement bulbs.

ok...so here is the answer I got : "Let us know if you/group like the product. We can work something out.thank you"

Not really the answer I was looking for tho... I asked how many sales it would take to reduce the price to 25-30$ /pair.

Anyway,so I guess we have to figure out how many of of us want to buy these at 25-30$/pair... and then see if they can do it.

And correct me if I am wrong, but an equalizer is only needed when you put LED turn signals...

yeah, only on turn signals because the flash relay needs a certain resistance to work correctly

Ok, maybe I am a dud, but these installation instructions confuse me...where exactly are you supposed to put the load equalizers?

Hmm, smoked tail lights with LED bulbs. Sounds like a plan.

I'm in on a group buy.

Because of the Note (where it mentions different resistance values for front, back or both front AND back leds) I'm guessing that the equalizers go somewhere inside the car, before the signals slpit to the front and back, but I can't be sure...

LED bulbs and tinted taillights (i do a very "custom" tinting to the lenses) is the way to go. However, I would have to test those pop-out LEDs to see if they distribute light evenly over the taillamp surface. LED's are bright, but they have a downside of sending like out like a beacon, not the best quality for illuminating the inside of a housing. but, like i said, they might be spread out just enough and are bright enough to not only look good, but illuminate BETTER THAN STOCK.
I 'm kinda looking to do a custom taillight job that will require the assemblies to be split open, if I can mount a circuit board for LEDs..i will be in business.

just like what i do with Lexus GS taillights..though now they sell they darn things OEM, and cleared out Amber to boot. Junction Produce use to sell these cleared out taillights for upwards of $1300 + shipping for a long time..

Well I have taken the plunge and ordered a pair of the SpiderLites to see how they work. I will post pics and info once I have them installed.
