Sound deadening my 08' S sedan.
Rubber door boot from inside door, need to run the new speaker wire though it.
Coat hanger with speaker wire taped to it. This one failed. Re-tapped and applied some Vasoline - success!
New speaker wire run through door boot.
Close up of RAAMmat applied inside of the main opening.
Interior of door deadened. The large openings made this pretty easy to do the entire inside.
Plastic "For Sale" signs trimmed and sheet metal screwed to the door panel. Interior of door already deadened.
RAAMmat behind the speaker opening.
A single square of Ensolite directly behind the speaker as recommended by RAAMaudio.
RAAMmat fully applied on door panel. Crossover mounted but currently with it's cover off. Speaker mounted too.
This is one 'dead' door!

Close up of the power lead inserted into a hole in the A/C vent grommet.
Sorry for the dark photo, but this is the power lead coming out from the rubber gromet next to the A/C vent line in front of the firewall.
Here's the line output converter (not wired) mounted to the hidden panel.
Line output converter mounted to panel above drivers feet (you can just barely see the top of it). It's completely hidden behind the panel under the...
I removed the access panel directly below the steering wheel and behind it is a panel parallel to the floor that I mounted the line output converter...
Here's the line output converter mounted onto a panel that is up above the foot pedals and behind the panel below the steering wheel. It is close to...
Test of the: line output converter, and all the wires run for the amp and rear speakers. Yeaaa! It works! I still need to run the speaker wires...
Passenger floor area, passenger side. I have layed the Ensolite on top of the RAAMmat up to the existing sound deadening material on the floor.
Passenger floor area, drivers side. I still need to lay some Ensolite on top of the RAAMmat to finish up the rear seat area.
