My sedan is still rust free/wreck free...I would love the extra power but would hate to find out that the junkyard motor had issues.

That is good to hear. When I read about them having an all aluminum block, I had flashbacks to the chevy vega engines. They were throw away engines after 40,000 miles or so.

Mazda as a whole, doesn't have great reliability. You don't hear many people talking about 500,000 trouble free miles from a Mazda. I don't think that a Mexican Mazda could be better than one built...
