Any camry hybrid guys in here? A question on coolant changes
Hi all. I figured some of you guys would know a thing or two about the Camry. Here's my two questions:
1. I have a 2018 hybrid, and I want to make sure I get ALL of the old coolant out of the engine/radiator/heater core. Is this going to be a pain? On my 2009 Yaris, it's convenient because there's simply a petcock on the back on the engine block. You can drain all the coolant directly out of the engine itself. Then it's no problem to flush the heater core and the radiator. But I don't think the Camry has such a nice engine drain valve. Or does it? 2. Is there any similar process for the inverter coolant? Is there a way to flush, and make sure all of the old coolant is gone? Or do you just drain it in the recommended way, and it all comes out? I don't like to leave half or 25% of the old fluids, like some people are ok with. I want all new! Thanks! |
