Crazy DFCO Idea
I don't know if it is possible in any way, but what if DFCO could be activated each time you press your brake pedal. Can you imagine the gas savings.
Does anyone think this is feasible, worthwhile or poppycock?!

It wouldn't be hard to get this going. Just put a push switch under the arm of the brake pedal, and hook it to a relay that's in-line with the power to the fuel injectors.
I don't think it would be worthwhile, though. DFCO while braking is already achievable with the MT by just not clutching, and in the AT by leaving the gear selector in 3 or L while braking.

So if I put my auto in 3rd when I brake, DFCO will activate. I'm gunna try this one out.
My brother pointed out an obvious problem. Your engine would cut off at stoplights. It would need a sensor to cut DFCO off under say 10MPH to keep your engine running and also to minimize drivability issues.

As mentioned in my DFCO thread the ECU cuts the injectors back on when your resistance RPM drops below 1,100.
