It's all personal opinion, really. There are several options to choose from. I'd recommend doing a search.

Also check out the "sticky" thread here:

Tanabe for longevity and sound, or Nitto for lowest price, or Blitz because it's rare.

couple of used Greddys on here for sale, teh_x_fallen has one, it's pretty LOUD, I can here him coming in to work from about a block away -

I should have a used Blitz exhaust for sale shortly, FYI

off topic...

Hey garm, which blitz nur spec do you sell for the yaris? Is it the blitz nur spec R, or blitz nur spec S? On ebay they sell the Blitz nur Spec S; However, it does not look like the blitz nur spec S that i got from japan.

This is the blitz nur spec S sold on ebay for the yaris...

However, the blitz nur spec S that i got straight from japan does not look like that one. Here was mine:

I was always curious why there are two different styles for the blitz nur spec S for the yaris??

I bought the TRD Toyota exhaust that the dealer sells. Real nice, $300.

I had a very nice axle-back that I liked a lot, but now that I went custom I'd never go back. Sounds awesome without the jubgundous, please-laugh-at-me can. If you're into that, though, rock it. I did for a long time and liked the look a lot, like I said.

any recommendations for an atermarket exhaust that offers some performance enhancement but actually remains QUIET like a MUFFLER is supposed to?

^ Full custom cat back, open the piping up a bit, run one cat instead of two, a resonator and a muffler. It'll be a little louder but nothing earth shattering.
