Engine type?
I have a 2009 3DLB. I have been reading about a TSB that states you can use 5w-20 oil if you have a certain engine type. My sticker says I have a 1.5L DOHC VVT-i SFI engine, but I don't see any thing matches on the TSB. Will the VIN tell me what I need to know? TNX for any info.

on that TSB i think it says that the 1nz series engines can use or should use this type. which is the series engines the yaris has.

there are no reasons to use 5w20. just stick with 5w30.
