Question

I purchased my 07 Yaris HB in June of 2006 shortly after I got hired by Toyota to build the Tundra in San Antonio. I could not pass up employee pricing!!!!! I did nothing besides normal maintenance and the usual work required to keep the car in good shape. Everything changed in Feb 2010, my nephew has a second hand Honda Accord 99 or 2000 model. Like most kids his age he put a cold air intake on it and a muffler with an exhaust diameter big enough to put your head in. Oh by the way it still needs an oil change and the state inspection sticker is out of date, but that is another topic. He was talking up the usual horse power gains increased torque BLA BLA BLA. Spent a weekend under a car and he thinks he is Mario Andretti. So that is what set me in motion. Since then my upgrades are as follows, TRD rear sway bar, shocks struts and springs, TRD cold air intake, cat back exhaust and short shift kit, Fog lights interior LED's and several other bits and pieces. My question is this, if you did not purchase your ride with the intension of upgrading or customizing it and have done so, what got it all started?
