Horn Frame/Airbag Frame Damaged
Hello everyone, first time poster so be gentle. Thanks in advance from Australia.
I recently gave my horn a serious whack and damaged my 2007 Toyota Yaris' horn/airbag frame. I understand Toyota only sell the whole assembly as one expensive piece. Does anyone know where I can find if if I cant fix mine? I took it apart and noticed a few parts were damaged. 1. All of the horn 'springs' have been crushed. Can I buy these separately online? image-4 image-3 image-1 2. The airbag frame tabs seems to be bent. Is it rightly bent? Does anyone have a comparable photo to see what angle they are supposed to look like? Can I bend them back? image-8 image-7 This one looks ok. It's the tab at the bottom of the horn pad. image-9 3. The horn frame looks straight to me. Right? image-5 image-6 |

Unfortunately you can't buy the springs, but check junkyards for popped airbags. You can harvest a set from a popped one.
