Yaris blower fan speed - Toyota Yaris Forums

Are the first two speeds for the interior fan just kinda bad? I don't think the resistors are bad as there is a noticeable difference between the first two speeds, but the difference between the second and third speed is very noticeable. Is this just characteristic of the Yaris, or do I need to replace the blower motor resistor pack?

On mine 1 and 2 have always been very quiet, 3 a bit louder, and then 4 sounds like a hurricane. I have an 08 3dr, as well.

Mine is same, though sometimes 3 can sound faster or slower, not sure why. But I'd agree speed 4 is "hurricane".
