rear badge help

so ima debadge my white 3dr LB and paint the toyota logos black. i've read all the DIYs on the matter but am still unclear on how to remove the rear toyota logo in the center.

is it the same method as the adhesive-only badges (i.e. just heat and saw behind w string)? does it just pop off after DESPITE having two pins in to the metal? or is it anchored in differently requiring some different type of manipulation? aaaaaaand then just the two sided car adhesive tape to put it back on, right?

sry for being needy. i just dont want to mess up the centerpiece on my rear end, noam sain?
