hmmm looked like both cars did terrible... both seemed to "crush" the driver and squish the knees a bit... but still Im glad the yaris doesnt look Worse than the volvo rather than just as bad.... if that makes sense.

Why are they wearing traffic vests. Dummys have no vision.
I think the Yaris did good against the bigger Volvo. |

To me it seems they both came out about evenly damaged, but since the Volvo is bigger, it means the Yaris came out better IMHO

Here it is in English
http://www.alltommotor.se/2.152/2.153/1.10023 "Toyota Yaris is the market’s hottest small car. But what about the safety in a car this tiny? In our unique test, the Yaris proves impressively safe." - Allt om Motor |

imo the yaris did great against the volvo. I'm not 100% sure about this but I'm pretty sure the volvo is mostly steel and fiberglass reinforced with steel. With new cars everything is steel and polyurethane, which has more bounce to it. I think hitting a new car would be safer. Also even if a new car gets hit by a truck you will still be just as likely to die, seeing as the jump in weight is significant.

It does. Driver's knee airbag (and side curtains) is standard on every Yaris except for the lowest equipment level.
