Finally got my HT setup

So... over thanksgiving I went back home (500miles away)... and put the two Tower speakers in the yaris to bring back to my NEW home.

thats a 32" LCD. Towers are I think 60" tall. Those are 12" cones for the speakers...

Made these back in 03 I think it was. Decided I wanted a tough finish so I went with LineX truck bed liner.... Stuff is indestructable.... never have to worry about chips, cuts, scratches, dents or anything like that. Was supposed to make a 300w 4cuft @ 20hz 12" sub to go with it, but couldn't sync schedules with my buddy who I was going to give me a shop to work in.

For the stereo types out there.... in room response usable down to around 50hz with these, High effiency, rated 96dB @ 1w/1m, and its a coaxial design with the horn driver screwed into the bag of the mid. A tweaked version of the Eminence Beta 12cx.

EDIT: Thats just an old Onkyo 5.1 reciever... nothing fancy.

I forgot how big these things were... Barely fit them, the GF, and the 70lb husky in the yaris for the 8 hr drive. Was a hidden blessing that I didn't get to make the HT sub as it would not have fit in the car without kicking the dog, or GF out. hehe.

SPRING..... thats when i'll get that HT sub into the mix.

Yeah, that N64 made for quite a few fun... and half drunken nights with the guys when I was in Japan... It's actually a japanese version that's been modded to play US games as well. Got Mario Kart in it right now.

Yeah, HT = Home Theater.

Yeah it can.... tho... if you're smart... you only do it once, spend about $10k, and then only change out the TV's & movie players once every 5 years and keep the same speakers & amps.

My dream system... yeah... the tower speakers alone cost $8k Good ol Linkwitz Lab Orions. A buddy of mine has them... oh gawd they sound good.
