hunter road force balanced??
hey guys, i was just at tirerack.com checking out some wheel and tire combos, but in the shopping cart it always recommends that you pay 400$ more for pressure sensors for your tires, in order for it to be hunter road force balanced. what does this mean? and is this necessary? does the yaris already come with sensors that can be used instead of paying teh 400 for new ones?

you should be able to use the ones from your stock wheels but you will have to have the tires unmounted and remounted wit hthose installed and then balanced. it will cost less than 400 for sure but its all a matter of time

Hunter road force balanced is just their line for free mount and balance. All the times I have spec'd combos that may require TPMS sensors, they also give you the option to mount and balance without sensors installed. Check to make sure that's not an option for you.
I'm waiting on my studded firestone's to come in any day from tirerack. I've always had good luck and service with them. |
