Hi Guys, I just joined the forum,
I need a lot of help, I have a 1KRfe Yaris T1 3 Door, 3 cyl, obviously there is litle power, to nothing, and I am making a project car of it, I have done the cold air intake, I will post a pic of it, then the exhaust, full custom, de cat, with a bossal bommietjie in the middle, it is like a smal silincer just larger than the pipe, 48mm, than a small silincer at the back with a double muffler piece, and it sounds fierce, But something does not feel write, and I want to clear it up and ad more mods, as many as I can... I want help on cutting the Cam's, I have a spare set of those, I am thingking cutting them to 276, 288, but not sure what will work best, and also I am building my own branches... and taking of that stupid cat, I will bolt the sensor in again... I need help for all the small things I might miss, and the tings I can try, Stock it has around 51 Kw, and I should be able to beat the Tazz 1300 carb, but I dont... it is like WTF! Please help!

My opinion: just changing cams isn't going to make more power, unless you tune the car and override the stock ECU.
Does that motor/ECU have vvt-i?

YO1 FINALY,
iT DOES hAVE vvt-I, THere is nothing a ECU can do to counter the Cam being custom, it is going to be tuned and I am going to chage the ECU, or ad a piggyback, Alos an Ipdate, I have re done my cold air intake as well as chage the exhaust, and wow! what a diffrance, I have a F1-X Cat back full free flow and tomrrow I am boulding Brancher (HEader) For the motor, I will Get some pics up ASAP, But THanks for the Info!

you can try upgrading the crank pullies (if you haven't done it yet), also keep your rims as small as possible to reduce mass, remember...less weight more easy it moves, I mean it wont add any HP but it sure help the engine move the car with less effor that way you'll maximize the use of the HP that you have right now...

Howzit Bro,
Life In Jozi is cooking! THe guys at wild cat is willing to build me a new header, with the sensors on there so it should not effect the ecu, there will be highrr flow hough, which I want, I am still going to try it.. As for the cams I am also indoubt about that, I just whish the electronics could be sorted out becasue dam! It is a mission, no one has used a piggy back succesfully on the ECU either!!! SO I really hope I am not stuck, As for the Teins, I have problems with the disc brake kit at the back and you did warn me so we put back the old brakes in the back, and took out the Tein to make it easier to work on, it is going to get done this week end!!! SO I wil def post all those pic's, no doubt! I need the pully kit to, where to find those and price would Help, I think that I will do the rotex super charger in time, but for now I am doing the other things!
